Dry Pipe Systems

Unlike wet pipe systems, the pipes in dry pipe systems are filled with pressurized air or nitrogen as opposed to water. These systems feature a dry pipe valve in a closed position, and this valve ensures water does not run through the pipe until it absolutely needs to—when a fire breaks out.

Dry pipe systems are ideal for Northeast Ohio commercial properties because they automatically provide protection in areas that could be affected by frozen pipes. As such, industrial properties such as drafty warehouses, cooler and freezer warehouses and other properties affected by the cold would benefit from having a dry pipe system in place.

R.G. Fire Protection has helped countless Northeast Ohio businesses select the right fire suppression system for their company, including commercial properties in Canton, Columbus, and Akron.
